Simon Wildlife Services is a family business that has been involved in the game capture industry since many years. In 2018, Raymund and Jolaine decided to start their own company; Simon Wildlife Services. A team of experienced, and above all passionate people! Have a look below who is behind the team!
'The apple never falls far from the tree'! Growing up on a farm while being surrounded by helicopters and wildlife, Raymund soon knew he wanted to do…! Flying helicopters like his dad!
Raymund manages the entire operation.
In 2011 Raymund got his PPL helicopter license and in 2014 he upgraded to a Commercial Pilot License. He now has more than 3500 hours of experience in game capture.
Jolaine grew up on a farm in the south of Namibia and always had a special interest in wildlife. In 2017 she joined the Simon family, and in 2022 she and Raymund became the proud parents of their daughter Cari.
Jolaine makes sure that 'behind the scenes' everything runs smoothly. Admin, marketing, finances, she got it all covered!
Bernie, and old hand in the business, is well-known in the Namibian game capture industry. Since 2001 he has been flying in every corner of Namibia.
Since Raymund took over the main business in 2018, Bernie now enjoys life on the farm where he runs a Boerbok stud breeding project. He still flies regularly when Raymund is busy elsewhere.
Josef started working for us in 2019, but has been involved in the game capture industry since 2006. Reliable and hardworking, Josef is our key to successful mass captures and transports.
Aron is one of our main drivers. He knows every corner of Namibia, and is always willing to go the extra mile!
We have a team of 35 dedicated and experienced people that assist in the boma capture and relocation of animals. Most have worked in the game capture industry for several years now, and we are proud to have them on our team!
